At iximiuz Labs, we take transparency seriously. We are committed to providing our users with a safe and secure environment for learning, content creation, and experimentation.
We use cookies solely for authentication purposes to ensure secure access to user accounts. We collect and store minimal personal information necessary to provide customized experiences, primarily the public GitHub profile ID. We do not share personal information with third parties except in cases where the user explicitly submits information to third-party services such as Kit (directly or via built-in email subscription forms), Patreon, Gumroad, and Creem.io (via the corresponding third-party sites).
Please note that processing emails and payment information is conducted by third-party services (Kit, Patreon, Gumroad, and Creem.io) and is subject to their respective Terms of Service. These services may set first- and third-party cookies on their websites, over which we have no control or responsibility. Data collected directly by iximiuz Labs remains confidential.
Learners are individual users who use iximiuz Labs to engage in educational activities, including consuming tutorials, challenges, skill paths, courses, and interactive playgrounds. Learners must behave respectfully toward other users, maintain proper conduct, and refrain from using hateful speech or attempting unauthorized actions. Users are prohibited from submitting sensitive information to the platform, running unlawfully obtained software, or performing other potentially harmful activities in the playgrounds (e.g., mining cryptocurrency, sending email, or any other form of spam, scanning large ranges of IP addresses, scraping data, etc.). Attempts to hack or compromise other users or the platform itself are strictly forbidden, although responsible security disclosures are highly encouraged.
iximiuz Labs supports community-driven content creation by allowing users ("authors") to publish tutorials, challenges, skill paths, and courses within the platform's primary thematic areas: Linux, networking, containers, Kubernetes, security, observability, CI/CD, server-side, and system programming.
In addition to the data stored for individual learners, we also collect authors' external profile URLs and display names, which may or may not be personally identifiable information (PII), based on author preference.
